In order to explore the source of the inclusion in fatigue fractures,the paper studied inclusion of 60Si2MnA spring steel during different process stage and in fatigue fracture by the optical, SEM-EDX, etc means, respectively, It studied the number, size, morphology and composition of the inclusion systematically. Base on analysis of the inclusion generating thermodynamics formation, integrate the practical process conditions, it obtained the main source of the large scale inclusion in fatigue fractures is the refining reaction products are not removed during refining process.
