Thermodynamics Analysis of Inclusions in Steel Produced by CSP Process

Abstract:By means of thermodynamics calculation and analysis for the inclusions in low carbon aluminum killed steel at Handan Steel, the inclusions were obtained by nonaqueous solution electrolysis. The feasibility of nonaqueous solution electrolysis and the veracity of thermodynamics calculation are validated and some proposals for improving the refining process at Handan Steel are offered. The generative mechanism of sulphide is also analyzed.
