Abstract:The powderpenetration ratio of the powder injection in CASOB process was studied by theoretical analysis and experimental measurement. The effect of solidgas ratio, nozzle depth, particle size and nozzle angle on powderpenetration behavior were experimentally investigated. Results show that high powderpenetration ratio can be attained with high solidgas ratio, deep lance position, big particle size and small nozzle angle with horizontal plane.
