Abstract:In order to optimize the utilization of blast furnace gas and reduce the sulfur content of blast furnace gas users, the technical method of removing organic sulfur in blast furnace gas was developed to meet the national recommendation of ultra-low emission. A high-effective complex organic solvent (CODS) was tested for the removal of organic sulfur and hydrogen sulfide of blast furnace gas. Moreover, the absorption conditions of CODS were optimized, and removal mechanism of organic sulfur from blast furnace gas was also analyzed. The results suggested that the contents of H2S and organic sulfur in purified gas were 2.4 and 15.8 mg/m3 respectively, and the total sulfur content was 21.0 mg/m3 under optimized process conditions of CODS concentration of 45%, Vg/VL of 180, and operating temperature 45 ℃. It was found to achieve the national ultra-low emission proposal, while taking into account the economy.
