Characteristics and recycling progress of dust in sintering machine head

Abstract：Characteristics and main utilization methods of precipitator dust in sintering machine head were introduced. Advantages and disadvantages of each method were discussed in order to propose a proper recycling method. In the future, an economic and proper way of recycling the dust in sintering machine head would first decrease its amount by sintering flue gas recirculation. Then in accordance with the local condition of each still mill, the raw materials were optimized to decrease the harmful elements before recycling for producing high value- added products or metalized pellets. Thus, the economic and reasonable recycle utilization was realized.
