Abstract:Based on the benchmarking about the natural gas consumption in Shouqin Company, it was found that reducing the natural gas baking of the ladle, tundish and torpedo bottle during baking was an important means to reduce the natural gas consumption. Through the theoretical calculation and process experiment, it was proved that the low heat value LDG can replace the natural gas during baking process and can keep the temperature of the energy consumption equipment lining balanced and stable. And the best LDG recovery interval range of converter blowing process was obtained by the recovery experiments, which can increase the level of LDG recovery, meet the demand of the converter gas for baking the ladle, tundish and torpedo ladle, and achieve the goal of stopping using the natural gas. Through the cascade utilization of the fuel gas resource, the level of natural gas consumption was effectively reduced, the LDG utilization ratio was increased, the energy cost was decreased, and the environmental pollution was reduced, which can provide a certain reference for the cascade utilization of the fuel gas resource in the steel enterprises of the same type in China.
