Abstract:In response to the slipping problems in actual production, combining with the actual conditions, the kinematics model and mechanics model are built for the strip which contacts with the the steering roll in the looper of continuous annealing line during its acceleration stage, and the model to judge whether the strip sliding occurs is established. The mechnical principle of strip’s sliding during acceleration stage is analyzed. It is pointed out that in the process of acceleration, the strip’s sliding is not only caused by the decline of roughness, but also by the fluctuation of the forward and backward tensions in the case of enough friction coefficient. And the influence of the fluctuation of the forward and backward tensions on the friction force, the supporting force and the acceleration of the strip which s with the the steering roll is discussed. Then on this base, the optimization target value of the tension fluctuation is concluded, which is applied in field production to avoid the slipping accident occurred again.
