Abstract:In order to ensure the safety operation of methylbenzene recovery equipment, a fault tree about methylbenzene recovery equipment is established by the fault tree analysis which is based on the analysis of the accidents. The major risk sources in the design and operation phases are figured out through the analysis of the fault tree. Furthermore, improvement programs and preventive measures are proposed to reduce the accident risk of methylbenzene recovery equipment.
