Abstract:The process capability analysis was applied to analysis the coke rate during the production of 2500m3 blast furnace by the soft Minitab based on the six sigma management concept. It was concluded that the process capability of coke rate was not enough, and there was a great space to reduce the coke rate. And the main influence factors of coke rate were coal ratio, oxygen enrichment percentage and iron content of charged iron ore which was obtained by failure matrix analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis. Meanwhile, the coke rate reached the lowest value, when the coal ratio was 180kg/t, the oxygen enrichment was 2.9% and the iron content of charged iron ore was 57.5% which were determined by using DOE. Then all of this could provide reference and guidance for field production.
