Abstract:In order to study the influence of the coiling temperature in the hot rolling process on the micro performance of the continuous product, the effect of coiling temperature on the microstructure and mechanical properties of continuously annealed lowcarbon steel was investigated by means of the unidirectional tensile test, OM and XRD methods. The results showed that as the coiling temperature increased from 670 to 750 ℃, the plastic strain ratio and relative cone cup value increased to 2.10 and 0.25, respectively, and the stamping properties of the researched material were comparable to that treated by the batch type annealing process. According to analysis, carbon was fully diffused to form more ferrite matrix under high temperature coiling conditions, which improved the purity of ferrite matrix and the formation of stronger {111} recrystallization texture during continuous annealing.
