Abstract:The framework design and practice of hot rolling intelligent plant for high efficiency, low consumption and lean production is a hot and difficult point for the metallurgical industry. Through the development of intelligent measurement and control technology, high-precision mathematical model, remote operation and maintenance technology and AI identification technology of rolling mill, the remote centralized control for six units of two hot rolling mills is realized, the workshop management boundary is broken, and the extreme automation and production intensification of hot rolling are realized. By building a global big data platform, deeply integrating intelligent algorithms and process technology, and taking plant performance as the guide, the eight tasks such as production, quality, equipment and energy in the operation process of hot rolling are coordinated and controlled, to create a digital twin of physical workshop. The multi-level intelligent plant architecture considering operation centralized control and collaborative control is reasonable and feasible. The application results show that the successful implementation of hot rolling intelligent plant has increased labor productivity by 15% and capacity by 8%, decreased cost by 10% and quality defect rate by 10%.
