Pulverized Coal Injection System with three vessels in-parallel, double injection pipes (one in use and one for standby), double distributors had been established for C (3#) Blast Furnace (hereinafter referred to as C Blast Furnace). Many advanced technologies such as injection pipes optimization, jam detection and automatic purging for branch pipes, safety interlock for key valves had adopt to decrease the resistance, energy consumption and wear. Automatic pulverized coal injection system with long distance had been achieved to provide excellent condition for C Blast Furnace to realize high yield and quality, long campaign and low cost.
