The Direct Hot Charging Rolling (referred to as "DHCR") has been generally applied in hot rolling in domestic steel mills. However, regular DHCR can't work well in HanBao Iron and Steel Co.Ltd, limited by field conditions. The DHCR rate can only operate at 10%, resulting in the comprehensive energy consumption per ton 3 kilograms of standard coal higher than international advanced level, which becomes the bottleneck of production organization. According to the practical situation, Hanbao achieved to set up a new batch hot delivery and hot charging production mode with the aid of the Integrated Production and Sales Management System, which increased DHCR rate beyond 50%.
