Research and Application on AGC System of Reversible Single Stand Cold Rolling Mill

Abstract:Based on the fundamental of auto gauge control, combined with the characteristics of reversible single stand cold rolling mill, the project of gauge control system is brought forward. The feed forward AGC, Smithpredict monitor AGC, GMAGC,gauge compensation during acceleration and deceleration in the gauge control system are detailed analyzed and studied. Aiming at the problems encountered in practical application, specific solve schemes are presented and executed in site. The application result indicates that the relative gauge error of product is within ±1%,satisfying the requirement of production.
