Abstract:ABSTRACT:The production line of oxidized pellets in KISC is designed with 1.2 Mt/a output capacity. Due to complex conditions of raw materials and some defects of process design, the pelletizing degree of green balls just attained to about 30% at the beginning of the startup, which brings the difficulties to improve pellet yields and technical parameters. Thus, KISC and Central South University have fully made experimental researches and practical investigations, and successively carried out a series of technology reformations and process improvements for the four steps, which contributed to achieving the remarkable effects. Consequently, the pelletizing degree of green balls has been increased to over 60%, and also the designed target output has been achieved for the production line of oxidized pellets in KISC.
