Abstract:To improve the sulfur control level of silicon steel production, on the basis of theoretical analysis, the variation law of sulfur content in the whole process of silicon steel smelting in a factory was studied combined with big data analysis. The results show that sulfur content of molten iron after treatment decreases first and then increases with the increase of temperature before pretreatment, and the optimum temperature before pretreatment is 1 370-1 400 ℃. The sulfur mass fraction of molten metal is reduced from 220.5×10-6 to 11.7×10-6 by three times slag skimming and two times stirring. In the production of silicon steel, the special converter is selected to wash the furnace, the low carbon oxygen accumulation is controlled, the amount of scrap steel is reduced, the amount of lime is increased, and the end point oxygen mass fraction is controlled at 400×10-6-500×10-6, then the end point sulfur mass fraction of converter is reduced to 21.2×10-6, and the end point sulfur mass fraction of refining is reduced to 14.0×10-6. Through the whole process control, the proportion of high grade W310-W400 steel with sulfur mass fraction less than 20×10-6 at refining outlet increases to 94.2%, and the proportion of high grade W250-W290 steel with sulfur mass fraction less than 15×10-6at refining outlet increases to 90.7%.
