Abstract:Aiming at the harsh working environment where the large blast furnace distributing chute is located, and the feeding time is long, and it is affected by many factors, its wear is very serious. A mathematical model of the chute wear based on the discrete element simulation was established to study the wear of a large-scale distributing chute in an iron and steel enterprise, and the main wear parts of the distributing chute were found. This model is used to analyze the influencing factors of different chute inclination angles, particle size and physical characteristics of the chute to explore the rule of chute wear. The research results show that the main wear of the chute is the impact wear area, and the abrasive wear area is lighter. With the increase of the chute inclination, the particle size and hardness of the material increase, and the sharp edges increase the average wear depth, which provides a certain reference or reducing the structure improvement and correct use of the chute.
