Abstract:Affected by the maintenance of a 7.63 m dry quenching coke oven, the No.8 blast furnace was forced to adjust from full dry coke smelting to full wet coke smelting for 50 days. The effect of full wet coke smelting on blast furnace air volume, gas utilization and consumption was analyzed. The blast furnace always insisted on taking wind as the core, increased the amount of coke in the center, and adjusted the dynamic balance between the edge and the center flow on the premise of keeping the center flow smooth and stable. The blast furnace air volume loss was 300-400 m3/min compared with dry coke smelting, and the average daily hot metal yield losa was 500 t/d. However, the fuel ratio was still stable at 510.9 kg/t. The whole production of full wet coke in blast furnace was stable and smooth, and all indexes were stable, which provided an important reference for wet coke smelting in large blast furnace.
