Abstract:According to the crack defects on the surface of medium carbon steel and low alloy steel after increasing casting speed, the non- sinusoidal vibration system and covering slag index were optimized. Cooperating with non- sinusoidal vibration parameter optimization and covering slag adjustment, the vibration parameters were stable with the fluctuation of the casting speed, and the amplitude can be adjusted accordingly with casting speed, the consumption of covering slag was increased by 0.03- 0.05 kg/t, the negative slip time was stable in 0.18 s, the negative sliding ratio was stable at around 36%, the effect of casting mold release and the surface quality had been improved significantly.
