Abstract:The high- strength automotive steel is used more and more, and the problem of forming cracks has always been a research hotspot. The high blanking clearance has a significant effect on the section quality of the stamping parts. Three kinds of high strength steel S550MC, S315MC, SPFH590 were studied, with the study methods of physical experiments, such as punching, bearizing and electron scanning. The blanking fracture surface quality and the blanking force at different blanking clearance were analyzed. The results stated that for high strength steel, with the increasing of the width of the euphotic zone, the bearuzing rate did not increase necessarily. Furthermore, for S550MC, increasing the blanking clearance appropriately could not only conduce to reduce blanking force, but also improve the broaching property of the sheet.
