Abstract:In order to study the fatigue properties of automotive steel DC53D+ZF, the fatigue performance was measured by the high frequency fatigue testing machine under different maximum stress conditions. The tensile test was carried out at room temperature and air environment. The sine wave was used for the cyclic loading until the specimen was broken, and the number of cycles and the stress amplitude of the specimen under different stress levels were measured. The limit of fatigue strength of DC53D+ZF was 222.4 MPa. Based on the corresponding processing of the fatigue data of DC53D+ZF, the lower limit data of the S- N curve of the automobile steel was obtained. The data can complement the common fatigue properties of automobile steels and provide a reliable data base for the fatigue analysis of automobile plants to predict the design life of automotive components.
