Abstract:Based on the denitrification technology testing of 120t RH at Masteel the relationships between denitrification rate and initial nitrogen content, cycle times, slag depth were analyzed. Results showed that denitrification rate and many process factors were mutual constraint in RH vacuum. Effect of the initial nitrogen content on the denitrification rate had the ladder-type characteristics. Low vacuum degree was the necessary condition to obtain higher denitrification rate, and denitrification effect achieved best when steel cycles remained within 10-12 times. RH slag depth had a dual effect on denitrification rate, so slag volume should be reasonable control avoiding from 130-150mm intervals.
