Abstract:Because the large blast furnaces are the concentration represents of new techniques in ironmaking blast furnace. Compared with the small volume blast furnace, it has lower economic investigation, smaller energy consumption and environmental load, higher labor productivity. In order to provide consults and contrasts to large blast furnace and other kinds blast furnace in China, this article reviews the production of 21 large blast furnaces whose effective volume larger than 4 000 m3 of 1-6 month in 2016. It introduces the production, raw materials, operation indexes and other new technology of large blast furnaces. Based on above analyses, some operation measures for the ironmaking references were proposed.
