Abstract:In order to reduce the cost of coking coal blending under the stable stage of coke quality,the experiment plan on 200kg coke-oven was designed by the Xichang Steel and Vanadium and Pangang Group Research Institute,and the experiments were carried out. The results showed that with introducing gas coal and lean coal of low price in the coal blending process,the coke quality could meet the requirements. On the basis of the results of experiments on 200kg coke-oven,the scheme 3 were chosen to carry out the industrial experiment. The results of industrial tests showed that the coke′s CSR was 61.57% and M40 was more than 90% in the case of a substantial increase in the ratio of gas coal and lean coal,which met the requirement of stamping coke quality in Xichang Steel and Vanadium. And the cost of the coking coal blending in the test period decreased by 39.24 yuan per ton compared with it in the benchmark period. Thus,it had obvious effect on cost reduction.
