Based on the contrastive experiments on stamp coke-making and top coke-making, the results that coke quality increased remarkably by the stamp cokemaing processes. The results show that coking coal resources in pan'gang were suitable for stamp coking production. In the same structure of blending, the M 40 of coke could in- crease 0.6~7 percentage points, M 10 2.5~9.2 percentage points, CSR 6.9~9.7 percentage points, CRI 0.3~5.6 percentage points. On the condition that coke quality didn't decrease, the proportion the weak caking bottle coal or weak thin coal could increase, which could alleviate dependent on high quality strong bonding coal and reduce the cost of coking.
