Abstract:The localized application of dry gas cleaning technology which are applied in Xuangang 150t converter were discussed. Effective innovation process and method were developed to solve three key problems, namely explosion venting, soot formation in evaporative cooler, corrosions of polar and plate in electrostatic precipitator. The effect was remarkable. Explosion venting mechanism was discussed in detail according to different smelting stage. Zero- explosion- venting operation was proposed specifically. Computer simulation technology was used to optimize evaporative cooler and electrostatic precipitator. Goals such as no soot formation in evaporative cooler, no corrosion and deformation on polar and plate in electrostatic precipitator, zero explosion venting were achieved. The localized application of dry gas cleaning technology which was successfully applied in Xuangang Steel provides a powerful reference to domestic steel plants of the populization and promotion of this technology.
