Abstract:Power is important consumption energy in steel enterprise, which accounts for around 20% of the gross energy consumption in steel industry. There are many energysaving power generating equipments in integrated iron and steel works. The main factors which affect the electricity generating efficiency of these equipments were analyzed, and the international and domestic advanced technologies were introduced and compared.In addition, the secondary energy of Iron and steel industry and highlyefficient power generating of waste heat and energy were analyzed. The results show that the application of these technologies can bring considerable economic and social benefits to iron and steel enterprises.
