Effect of Oxygen Jet on Penetration Depth of the Bath

The relationship between parameters of nozzle, blowing condition and penetration depth of bath caused by oxygen was studied. Calculation formula of effect of nozzle angle was summarized. When the oxygen jet is not intersection of intersection rarely, penetration depth of nozzle with many holes can be calculated according to the single-hole nozzle. The penetration depth will increase if the oxygen jet is intersected. The nozzle with interlaced holes is suitable for large converter with high oxygen blowing intensity.
