Abstract:With the growth of production and consumption of aluminum products in China, aluminum and aluminum processing industry is in the stage of rapid development. Aluminum smelting furnace is an important high temperature production equipment in the aluminum smelting process. The flue gas produced by aluminum smelting furnace has the characteristics of high concentration of nitrogen oxides (NOx), small smoke volume and large fluctuation, which further increases the difficulty for environmental protection treatment of the flue gas. Denitration governance of the flue gas is in its infancy, and the relevant standards for pollutants discharge is still in constantly to be updated and improved. The characteristics, advantages and disadvantages of low nitrogen combustion technology, wet denitration, selective non-catalytic reduction(SNCR), selective catalytic reduction(SCR) and other major denitrification technologies are reviewed, and the existing flue gas denitration technologies in aluminum smelting furnace are introduced. The research focuses and industrial application prospect of flue gas denitration technology for aluminum melting furnace are also prospected.
