Effect of P2O5 on Rich Phosphorus Phase of CaO-SiO2-FetO-P2O5

CaO-SiO2-FetO-P2O5 slag was set as the study object in this paper, and the effect that the content of P2O5 has on mineralogical morphology and phosphorus occurrence form were studied by combing theoretical calculation and the experiment. By using equilib section in Factsage software to calculate the polyphase equilibrium of CaO-SiO2-FetO-P2O5 slag from 400-1800℃ and analyzing the experimental results by the method of SEM+EDS and XRD, it can be known that the content of Ca3(PO4)2 in the rich phosphorus phase increases as the content of P2O5 in the slag increases. The general existence form of P in the rich phosphorus phase of steel slag is nC2S-C3P, but when the P2O5 content in the slag is more than 18%, phosphorous in the rich phosphorus phase will exist as Ca3(PO4)2 without combing with 2CaO·SiO2. The analyzing results of the experiment verified the theoretical calculation results of Factsage further.
