Abstract:In order to study the causes of stamping delamination cracking defects for cold rolled galvanized sheets reported by automobile factories in recent years, four typical stamping delamination cracking samples were selected. The microscopic characteristics of these defects were analyzed by scanning electron microscope and energy spectrometer. The results show that the main causes of stamping delamination cracking for cold rolled galvanized sheet are protective slag entrapment, subcutaneous inclusions, foreign matter intrusion and scratches. The reasons of the four defects are different. However, the mechanism of cracking is basically similar. The cause and cracking mechanism of each type defect are analyzed and discussed, and improvement measures are proposed to provide direction for defect cause investigation, process separation and quality improvement.
