Abstract:Based on the thermogravimetric analysis, the combustion characteristics of the blend of three kinds of European biomass char(green waste(GW), organic fraction(OF)and orange peel(OP))and an anthracite from Lingyuan(LY)are studied by the non- isothermal combustion method, respectively. The combustion characteristic parameters of blends such as ignition temperature, maximum combustion rate temperature and the burning rate are analyzed under the condition of different proportion of char. The results show that the combustion performance of the three kinds of biomass char is better than that of the anthracite, and the order of S value of comprehensive combustion characteristic index is GW>OF>OP>LY. When the ratio of GW, OF and OP is increased from 5% to 20%, the S value of different blends increases from 8.196×10-15, 8.008×10-15 and 7.841×10-15 mg2/(min2·K3) respectively to 12.285×10-15, 13.094×10-15 and 8.970×10-15 mg2/(min2·K3), which indicates that the combustion performance of the blends is improved after adding the biomass char in the anthracite, and the combustibility is further enhanced with the increase of the ratio of the biomass char.
