Abstract:The effect of various factors such as decarburization process, oxygen blowing, aluminum adding, deoxidizing, alloying, powder injecting, vacuum chamber and ladle condition on the molten steel temperature during RH refining process was analyzed based on the metallurgical mechanism and thermal computation. And combined with the practical production, a prediction model of the molten steel temperature for RH refining was established. The actual production tracking indicated that the hit rate was 87.42% and 100%, respectively, for the error between the terminal temperatures of the molten steel obtained by the predicted model and the production data, within ±5 ℃ and ±8 ℃.
