Abstract:The mechanical properties and process optimization of the rolled stainless clad plate steel were studied. The cause for the plastic deterioration and recrystallization behavior of stainless steel layer in the clad plate was analyzed by the microstructure observation and thermal simulation technology, and the heat treatment was proceeded according to the research results. It showed that the main reason for the plastic deterioration of the stainless steel was the work hardening caused by the low finishing rolling temperature, and the plasticity of the clad layer could be improved obviously by means of the suitable heat treatments to get ideal matching of the strength and plasticity.
