Abstract:Sensible heat resource efficiency in the iron former process will be significantly improved by the hot charging process of the blast furnace raw materials and fuel. A spray evaporative cooling tower should be installed in front of the dry dust bag collectors to ensure the safety of purification and recovery system of high-temperature BFG. The theoretical calculation method for the full high temperature gas spray cooling tower is derived based on the analysis of the dry spray evaporative cooling theory and combined with the variable loading conditions of hot charging blast furnace operation. Spray water volume, dew point at the gas outlet and moisture content in the cooling tower, droplet evaporation time, the tower body size and other key technical parameters can be accurately and conveniently calculated by this method, which is easy for the computer programming application and has positive significance for the actual promotion.
