Abstract:The production practice of sulfide corrosion resistant container plate Q345R (R-HIC) was described. And it introduces the main factors of affecting hydrogen sulfide corrosion resistance, and formulates the corresponding processing plan. It controls the content of harmful elements P and S, to the level of w[P]≤0.012% and w[S]≤0.002%; It also controls the content of non-metallic inclusions, especially A and C inclusion contents to the lowest level. It maintains casting equipment at the same time, ensuring the inner quality of the casting billet. All properties of the trial products meet the standard of GB 713—2008 requirements, and for this type of steel, the experimental properties of resistance to hydrogen-induced cracking of steel (HIC) and stress corrosion cracking (SSCC) also fully meet the requirements of GB/T 8650—2006 and GB/T 4157—2006 standard.
