Abstract:This paper discusses the different carbon emission effects of "taking blast as the key link" and "high efficiency, high quality, low consumption, long life and environmental protection" ironmaking policies in blast furnace ironmaking. The new method of evaluating blast furnace ironmaking is used to compare the operation indexes of blast furnace under two production policies. It is shown that the "high efficiency, high quality, low consumption, long life and environmental protection" ironmaking policy is more consistent with the low carbon ironmaking policy, which is verified by the material balance and heat balance. Meanwhile, it indicates that to realize the low carbon ironmaking, it is necessary to further improve the technology and theory, change the production mode, adopt the fine and intensive production mode, and properly manage the complex relationship in the furnace.
