Abstract The steel slag self-slaking process by pyrolytic and processing technology is an advanced technology to achieve “zero discharge” to solve steel slag storage area and environmental pollution and to improve economic benefits. Along with Chinese government’s strong attention to energy saving and emission reduction and the issue of a series of supportive policies, major iron and steel enterprises paid more and more attention to the recovery of steel slag processing and utilization. However, the steel slag processing production line also generates dust pollution in the recycling of resources at the same time, and there are almost no similar study and summary at the present time. The dust source of the steel slag processing production line was analyzed, and it puts forward the corresponding control measures of dust during the resource utilization of steel slag.
