Abstract:In this paper, absorbent adsorption mechanism modified by microwave was discussed from the thermal effects and nonthermal effects of microwave. In the nonthermal effects, the Morse oscillator model and Raman spectra was applied to discuss the changes of elements Morse potential in the highfrequency electromagnetic fields. In the thermal effect, the absorption characteristics of the microwave is discussed mainly through testing the contact angle modified before and after the microwave. The results show that the Morse potential energy of the absorbent modified by microwave has reduced from 9 913.13 cm1 (original sample) to 5 6831 cm-1, and the contact angle from 5744° (original sample) to 4934°.
