Abstract:Using thermomechanical control process (TMCP) to produce the wire rod of middle carbon cold heading steel SWRCH35KM, the ferrite proportion and the granulated part of the pearlite in the microstructure are increased, thus decreasing tensile strength and hardness, improving plasticity and metal fluidity in cold heading. The spheroidal annealing process can be excused in producing various fasteners. It can save the energy, reduce the cost and protect the environment.
