Current situation and thinking of industrial software in China′s iron and steel industry

Abstract:The development level of various industrial software in China's iron and steel industry is unbalanced. The deficiencies of development and design type software are the most obvious, foreign products and domestic products coexist in production and manufacturing software, operation and maintenance service software faces localization opportunities, management software steadily promotes localization substitution, domestic substitution of management software is steadily advancing, and new architecture-based software has great development potential. The independent development of industrial software in iron and steel industry has achieved some breakthrough results. The common characteristics and experience of these achievements are summarized. Only when the industrial software research and development is closely combined with the actual demand of the iron and steel industry, can the appropriate application scenarios be found. Technical breakthrough can be achieved on the basis of studying basic theories and key technologies. Technological breakthroughs and scientific research achievements of industrial software should be reflected in the successful operation in enterprises and pass practical tests. The developed industrial software creates benefits and value for enterprises, promoting its use and promotion. The brand effect and user recognition of industrial software are established in the process of its application, promotion, and service.The demand of high quality development of iron and steel industry has brought new opportunities and new impetus for independent research and development of industrial software.
