Abstract:Coiler and uncoiler are the key equipment for stable running of continuous cold rolling lines. It is very important to choose the motor parameters and the reduction ratio of reducer reasonably. At present, in engineering design, the motor power, as one of the key parameters of uncoiler and coiler, is usually determined by superimposing an amplification factor on the basis of tension required power. However, the calculation process is extensive and accuracy of calculation is low, which is difficult to adapt to the increasingly high requirements on the tension control accuracy of cold rolling lines, and deviates from the concept of providing delicacy design to cope with the challenge of fierce market competition. According to systematic thinking method, from comprehensive consideration of many aspects, such as the process, equipment, motor manufacturing, electrical control, etc., the determination principles of process tension, motor type and reduction ratio of uncoiler and coiler were given. On this basis, the power calculation formula of uncoiler and coiler was precisely derived from four aspects of power required by tension, power required by dynamic moment, power lost due to elastic deformation and power lost due to friction, providing a set of practical approaches to accurate calculation and selection of uncoiler/coiler motor power and reduction ratio in the engineering design.
