Study on best heat treatment system of 14Cr1MoR steel with heavy thickness and strict requirements

Abstract:The reason for the poor matching of strength and low-temperature impact toughness of 14Cr1MoR steel plate with large thickness was analyzed. The influence of a series of heat treatment systems on the structure and properties of steel plate was studied under laboratory conditions, and the best heat treatment system was further explored. The results showed that the main reason for the poor matching of strength and low-temperature impact toughness of 14Cr1MoR steel plate with large thickness was the large inhomogeneous structure formed during rolling or quenching, and the irregular accumulation and growth of chromium/molybdenum carbide in the grain boundary and matrix. Aiming at the requirements of high performance steel plate, the structure proportion was adjusted by one-time high-temperature quenching to refine the grain and secondary high-temperature gradient sub-temperature quenching, which can effectively improve the steel plate delivery state and the strength and toughness after long-time die welding, and meet the user's demand for more strict technical requirements of 14Cr1MoR steel with large thickness.
