Abstract:Based on the historical converter production data of Hanbao Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. of Handan steel group, the converter endpoint temperature prediction model was established by combining the wavelet analysis with the grey model, and a new idea was proposed based on the current temperature prediction method. After the data "nose" was removed by the wavelet transform tool in MATLAB, it was divided into trend data and fluctuation data, and the gray model was used to predict the converter endpoint temperature with 24 furnaces as the samples to be measured. The results showed that the predicted temperature error accounted for 95.83% in the interval [-10,10], which can meet the production requirements, thereby verifying the validity of the model.
